Sunday Programme

St Andrew’s has Sunday groups for children and young people of all ages, starting at 10.30 am. Apart from the Crèche for under 3’s, all the groups go into church for the first 15 minutes of the service, then we split into different rooms for age related activities. Groups finish shortly after 11.30.

We have an active Icthus youth group for young people aged 12 to 17, which also meets on Sunday mornings.

Special activities

Junior Church normally leads the church service on Mothering Sunday and our Christmas Festival service – see What’s on calendar for dates.  Children are involved in these services in songs, drama, readings etc.

Toy Service - December - all donated toys are passed on to the Salvation Army, who support families and children in need at Christmas - and beyond.

Junior Church Supper Evening in January 2010 was in support of Workaid (charity Junior Church has chosen to support that year), raised over £750.

You are very welcome - come along!

We are pleased to welcome new children and young people at any time. Parents are welcome to stay with younger children for as long as they are needed. We also have a small number of toys available in Church for younger children who prefer to stay with their parents/carers.
